Summary

We will pioneer sustainable AI technology by combining quantum software with HPC and simulation technologies. Specifically, we will develop quantum machine learning methods and quantum simulation methods for strongly correlated quantum many-body systems with a small amount of data. In addition, we will create quantum AI technologies that combine quantum machine learning, quantum simulation, and quantum devices by making full use of quantum-classical fusion representation and quantum optimization techniques. We will also build and deploy a quantum HPC infrastructure for quantum offloading and quantum AI edge computing. The goal is to integrate quantum AI technology into socio-economic systems, enhance international competitiveness through the creation of new industries using quantum technology and quantum start-ups, and realize a society in which a productivity revolution and the creation of new industries are supported by quantum AI.
