Summary

Recently, the number of Parkinson's disease patients is rapidly increasing due to the aging society, and overcoming this disease and extending healthy life expectancy are urgent issues. Although many drugs have been developed for Parkinson's disease, there is still no curative or disease-modifying treatment. Improving the nursing and care of Parkinson's disease patients and their care environment is another pressing issue.The center will conduct integrated research of basic and clinical science and cross-faculty research with the goal of establishing innovative treatments for Parkinson's disease and improving medical care and welfare of patients.
