Creativity
Summary
This project aims to create an XML database of incunabula which allows users to analyze and search their bibliographical descriptions and copy-specific features together with digital images. The data will be published as linked open data. The project also seeks to establish a method for reproducing early printing types using a 3D printer and carry out printing experiments with the reproduced types. The database launch is scheduled at an international symposium to be held at Keio in 2017,the final year of the project.
