An introductory book on dialogue studies, "Developing Leadership: The Susume of Dialogue Studies" (Tokyo Shoseki), by Jiro Tamura (KGRI senior researcher / Professor, Faculty of Law) and Koji Sumida (KGRI Visiting Senior Researcher / Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, Tokyo Fuji University), has been published.

A Message from the Authors:

To spread the study of negotiation, which we learned at Harvard, in Japan,

we have worked for many years to promote it in various settings, including educational institutions and corporations.

In the process, we have seen many Japanese people struggle with dialogue, even if they can hold a conversation, due to their deep-seated value of harmony (wa).

As a result of extensive research on how to overcome this barrier,

we have developed "Dialogue Studies."

We hope to share with you this method for systematically learning and acquiring advanced communication skills.
