The final review for applicants of the KGRI Start-up Research Grant will be held on the following schedule.

The review will be conducted as an open hearing, and anyone considering applying next year is welcome to attend.

(An open hearing consists of presentations by applicants who have passed the first screening for the KGRI Start-up Research Grant.)

[About the KGRI Start-up Research Grant]

This is a new research grant program launched in fiscal year 2019 for young researchers within Keio who aim to launch international and interdisciplinary research projects.

Grant Amount: Up to 2 million yen for two projects (Projects with outstanding results may apply for a second year of funding.)

Eligible Research: Advanced research that is cross-faculty, international, and interdisciplinary

Research Period: Mid-July 2020 to March 31, 2021

Eligibility (Principal Investigator): Must be 45 years of age or younger as of April 1, 2020 (Limited to Keio University faculty members)
