[Purpose]
To establish methods for monitoring biological functions and lifestyle habits using algorithms and technologies for acquiring and analyzing vital data via IoT.
[Research Subjects]
Methods for evaluating functions related to four aspects of the human body
・Homeostasis: Evaluation of gut microbiota, immune strength, etc.
・Senses: Evaluation of vision and hearing
・Motor skills: Evaluation of gait and risk of falling
・Cognitive abilities: Evaluation of conversational and cognitive skills
・Environment and lifestyle habits: Evaluation of sleep, diet, physical activity, and stress
[Research Period]
April 2020 to March 2023
[Features]
・This research collects and analyzes daily objective data through biological information monitoring, replacing previous methods based on questionnaires and interviews.
・Promotes the development of sensing target identification, functional evaluation methods, sensing technologies, and analysis algorithms as an interdisciplinary collaborative research project centered on medical-engineering collaboration.
