The Keio University Global Research Institute (KGRI) is Keio University's platform for promoting interdisciplinary research that is open to the world. This research grant supports the start-up of new research projects launched at KGRI. As part of our efforts to dramatically advance interdisciplinary research in the Longevity, Security, and Creativity clusters, this program supports the formation of projects in Keio University's core research fields. It aims to lead and develop research in each field toward solving major issues that question global sustainability, ultimately leading to the acquisition of large-scale research funding from both domestic and international sources. At the same time, this is a new within Keio research subsidy from KGRI, part of the "Cluster Research Promotion Project Program," a within Keio research grant aimed at disseminating the true state of research at Keio University and enhancing its citations and reputation by publishing outstanding research results as internationally co-authored papers in leading international journals.
