[Announcing "2040 Quest: Challengers for the Future" in Yokohama Minato Mirai]

The Keio University Global Research Institute (hereinafter "KGRI") 2040 Independence and Self-Respect Project (hereinafter "2040PJ") and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. will hold "2040 Quest: Challengers for the Future" at Landmark Plaza in Yokohama Minato Mirai over three days from October 20 to 22, 2023.

In 2040, Japan is projected to become a super-aged society ahead of the rest of the world, facing an unprecedented national crisis. The 2040PJ is an open platform for solving social issues, organized by a collective of universities, companies, startups, and students, and is a transdisciplinary research project launched within KGRI.

"2040 Quest: Challengers for the Future" is an event that brings together researchers, companies, students, and the general public to consider what we can and should do to solve the social issues of 2040 (the so-called "2040 Problem") and to create opportunities to put those ideas into action. Various exhibitions and hands-on sessions will be presented at Landmark Plaza.

We offer a wide range of content suitable for everyone from elementary school students to adults.
