February 15, 2018
The 30th Hi-Life Seminar will be held, co-hosted by the Hi-Life Institute, a public interest incorporated foundation, and the Longevity Cluster of the Keio University Global Research Institute.
Japan is a super-aged society. We often see information about various problems and social anxieties, especially with the aging of the baby boomer generation, which constitutes a large portion of the population. At the individual level, attention is focused on issues symbolized by the term "healthy life expectancy."
However, research and initiatives related to the super-aged society are rarely introduced to the public, providing few opportunities for reflection.
Therefore, this seminar aims to provide an opportunity to gain some insights by introducing research and initiatives concerning the elderly, thereby contributing to the public good.
The speakers for this event conduct research from completely different perspectives. We hope that this opportunity will allow many people to learn about their work and will encourage continued interest in the topic.
