2018 Endowed Course
Endowed Course in Leadership: Fundamentals of Leadership
In the 21st century, humanity has built a prosperous society through globalization and technological innovation. On the other hand, the problems spreading throughout society have become more complex, and there is a need for personnel who can solve these problems. In Japan, in particular, problems are piling up due to factors such as a declining birthrate and aging population, and delays in responding to globalization. In such a society, there is a demand for leaders who can guide people to solve problems that have no single correct answer.
This course aims to cultivate the human resources needed for the society of the future by welcoming guest lecturers who have been involved in leadership education around the world and by systematically learning about global leadership through lectures based on dialogue among students.
For Students
The Keio Global Research Institute (KGRI), in close collaboration with related educational and research fields at the university, promotes interdisciplinary research that integrates the humanities and sciences and cross-disciplinary research in the three clusters of "Longevity," "Security," and "Creativity."
