From October 9 to 11, Hideyuki Okano (Professor, School of Medicine; Dean of the Graduate School; and Leader of the Longevity Cluster) and Masato Yasui (Vice-Director of KGRI and Professor, School of Medicine) visited Peking University.
The dean of Peking University Health Science Center attended the 100th anniversary ceremony of the Keio University School of Medicine. On that occasion, an inter-faculty agreement was signed to promote research and student exchanges.
Subsequently, Dean Okano of the School of Medicine, Dean Kawakami of the Graduate School, Vice-Director Saya of the University Hospital, and Assistant to the Dean Yasui of the School of Medicine were appointed as Guest Professors at Peking University. From October 9 to 11, 2017, Professor Okano and Professor Yasui gave commemorative lectures at Peking University in conjunction with the ceremony to confer their titles.
