On March 13, 2018, Kohei Ito, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) with six other Keio delegates and engaged in discussions about mutual exchanges between the two universities.
During the morning of the visit, following overviews on Keio University, the Keio Global Research Institute (KGRI), and the Faculty of Science and Technology, the Keio delegation discussed exchanges with their counterparts at HKUST; and in the afternoon the two partners discussed specific research exchanges in the respective fields of mathematics and mechanical engineering. A facilities inspection of the HKUST Media Center and Robot Institute was also held.
