Masato Yasui (Director of KGRI and professor at the School of Medicine) visited the University of Cologne (Germany) on March 12 and 13, and Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) on March 14.
In Cologne, he took part in a hearing with the University of Cologne, which is a candidate for the top university assessment taking place in Germany.

During the hearing at the University of Cologne, he was able to highlight Keio's appeal as a strategic partner. In addition, he was able to exchange opinions on future cooperative frameworks with the University of Cologne executive officers, and he hopes to further deepen the interactions between the two universities in the future.
At Karolinska Institutet, he engaged in discussions with the president, and was able to affirm the importance of their partnership. They agreed to promote bidirectional study abroad clinical programs for undergraduate medical students and study abroad research programs for graduate students.
