Hideyuki Okano (professor at the School of Medicine, dean of the Graduate School of Medicine, and Longevity Initiative Leader) and Masato Yasui (deputy director of KGRI and professor at the School of Medicine) visited Peking University from October 9 to 11.
The dean of the Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences attended the ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Keio University School of Medicine. A faculty-level agreement, including research and student exchanges, was also concluded on this occasion.
Afterward, Professor Okano, dean of the School of Medicine, Professor Kawakami, dean of the Graduate School of Medicine, Professor Saya, vice director of the Keio University Hospital, and Professor Yasui, deputy dean of the School of Medicine, became guest professors at Peking University. In addition to attending the awarding ceremony for guest professors held between October 9 and 11, 2017, Professors Okano and Yasui gave commemorative lectures at Peking University.
