  At the XXV Olympic Winter Games (Milano Cortina 2026) held from February 6 to February 22, 2026, Satoshi Furuno (graduate of the Faculty of Law) from Keio University took on the challenge of the big stage.

We look back on his performance and express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported him.

Skiing Freestyle (Men's Ski Cross)

The Men's Ski Cross event in Freestyle Skiing took place on February 21, where Satoshi Furuno achieved a remarkable 4th-place finish, a first for a Japanese athlete. After qualifying with a strong second-place time, Furuno put up a persistent and aggressive performance in the finals. Although he narrowly missed a medal, he delivered a magnificent race that rewrote history.
