On Tuesday, March 17, members of the British national team (Team GB) and the British Olympic Association (BOA) came to Hiyoshi Campus for a visit.
Due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease), the visit was on a much smaller scale than originally planned. Nevertheless, the group that visited Hiyoshi Campus on this occasion comprised members of various teams including the swimming, taekwondo, and modern pentathlon teams, and they visited and carefully examined each facility they expect to use during the pre-Games preparation camp.
When they visited the Hiyoshi Commemorative Hall, which was completed just one week before their visit, there were loud cheers from the team members who had been looking forward to its completion.
