On November 27, doctors and physical therapists from Team GB (the British Olympic Team) took a tour of the facilities on Keio’s Hiyoshi Campus. As Hiyoshi Campus will be used by Team GB athletes for the Tokyo 2020 pre-Games preparation camp, the medical team conducted a thorough check of the training facilities and dining spaces that may be used by the athletes, as well as the AEDs on campus.
At the construction site of the new Hiyoshi Memorial Hall (due for completion in 2020), Chief Medical Officer Dr. Niall Elliot, who was making his 2nd visit to Hiyoshi Campus after visiting earlier in the year during the summer, was relieved to see the progress that had been made on the building, which is now starting to tower above the campus.
