Department of Nursing

Keio University’s Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care leverages the strengths of a comprehensive university to provide an environment where students can learn multidisciplinary collaboration in practice by working together with other faculties as well as the Inter-Professional Educational Program with the School of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy. Students expand their learning at two campuses—Shonan Fujisawa Campus and Shinanomachi Campus—and enhance nursing expertise through domestic and international practice. A major feature is that students can attain a public health nurse or midwife license, in addition to the nurse license. We cultivate personnel who are active both domestically and internationally through overseas training programs, small-class instruction, and a comprehensive scholarship system.
