On October 27, 2026, the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care received a commendation as a Fire and Disaster Prevention Management Meritorious Organization from the Tokyo Fire and Disaster Prevention Memorial Service Foundation. This award honors the faculty's long-standing practice of conducting BLS (Basic Life Support) training for third-year students at the Shinanomachi Campus.
The commendation was awarded in recognition of the faculty's deep awareness of the importance of first aid, its implementation of life-saving training, and its contribution to improving disaster prevention capabilities.
The Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care will continue to contribute to the development of human resources who can take action in times of emergency.
