On Saturday, August 3, an open campus was held at the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building on the Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) for high school students and prospective applicants interested in the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care.
In the large lecture hall, in addition to faculty information sessions and mock classes, there were student presentations on their overseas activities and an introduction to overseas study programs.
The hands-on activity corner featured a life-saving and AED demonstration and an opportunity to try remote nursing devices, while the exhibition corner showcased posters on overseas activities and introduced the research of students and faculty.
At the faculty and student consultation corners and during campus tours, visitors actively asked questions and sought advice, engaging in various discussions about student life after enrollment and future career paths.
Despite the intense heat, approximately 655 visitors attended, making for a lively and vibrant day.
The Open Research Forum is scheduled to be held at the SFC campus in November. The Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care Building will also offer student consultations and campus tours, so we encourage those who were unable to attend this time to join us.
