COVID-19 vaccinations are progressing smoothly.
We would like to report on the first day of the workplace vaccination program for 50,000 people, which would not have been possible without the full cooperation of the members of Koubaikai, the alumni association of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care .
Ms. Yoriko Asada (a 68th graduate of Kosei Women's College and affiliated with the NPO Nakano Dream), who has long supported the Koubaikai office, was in charge of checking the pre-vaccination screening questionnaires.
"I was happy to be able to participate as a nurse after the alumni association received a request from the Office of the Director of Nursing to recruit nurses for the vaccination effort."
Mr. Ryutaro Wada (from the 9th graduating class of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care and affiliated with Will Visiting Nurse Station Edogawa) was in charge of administering the vaccinations.
"I participated in the workplace vaccination program because I wanted to contribute, even in a small way, to ending the COVID-19 pandemic."
Under the principle of "cooperation of the Keio Gijuku Shachu," the education, research, and student life at Keio University are supported by many alumni in this way.
