We are now accepting recommendations for candidates for the "Sanshikai Awards (Kitasato Award and Kitajima Award)" to be presented at the Kitasato Memorial Ceremony as follows.
If you have any suitable candidates, we would appreciate your recommendation.
Details
1. Recommendation Criteria
This award is the highest academic award in the School of Medicine. Candidates should have achieved research results that are internationally recognized, and be expected to further develop and excel as leaders of the next generation.
• Kitasato Award: Outstanding achievements in basic research and translational research into clinical practice.
• Kitajima Award: Outstanding achievements in clinical medical sciences and clinical research.

3. Candidate Eligibility
Sanshikai members (regardless of whether they are affiliated with the university or not)
4. Required Documents
(1) Candidate Recommendation Form (Prescribed Form.zip, A3 size)
(2) Curriculum Vitae (Prescribed Form.zip, with photo attached, A3 size)
(3) List of Achievements (Free format, double-sided printing)
• Please extract items related to the research subject to be awarded, regardless of whether it is basic or clinical research.
• Do not omit co-authors; list the names of all authors.
• Conference presentations may be included, but only special lectures and symposia.
(4) Reprints of papers (Representative papers related to the research topic; up to 5 papers)
5. Number of Copies to Submit: 1 original and 12 copies (of all submitted documents)
*Please assemble items (1) to (4) in order as one set, and prepare the copies in the same format.
6. Submission Deadline
Thursday, April 30, 2026 (Must arrive by this date. Reception at the counter or by mail until 17:00)
7. Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will be held during the Kitasato Memorial Ceremony on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Please note that award recipients are required to attend the ceremony.
