On November 26, 2024, a delegation led by Professor Yen-Hsuan Ni, Dean of the National Taiwan University School of Medicine, visited the Shinanomachi Campus.
First, Professor Ni, Dean of the National Taiwan University School of Medicine, and Professor Takanori Kanai, Dean of our School of Medicine, explained the background leading to the conclusion of these agreements.
Next, Professor Li-Jiuan Rita Shen, Vice Dean of the National Taiwan University School of Medicine, and Professor Toshiaki Kadokawa, Vice Dean of our School of Medicine, expressed their hopes for future cooperation between the two schools.
Following this, Tomomi Banba and Tohito Kaku, fifth-year students at the School of Medicine, reported on their experiences during their clinical study abroad at the National Taiwan University School of Medicine in August 2024. They expressed their gratitude for the fruitful experience they gained in the well-equipped environment of National Taiwan University, with the support of everyone involved.
Afterward, a signing ceremony was held to commemorate the conclusion of the comprehensive and student exchange agreements.
Finally, the group moved to the drawing room, where they engaged in a friendly conversation as Dean Kanai introduced the surrounding famous landmarks visible from the window, such as the National Stadium, to the delegation from National Taiwan University.
It is hoped that this will lead to continued and active exchanges, such as student exchanges, between the National Taiwan University School of Medicine and the Keio University School of Medicine in the future.
