The 9th Keio Healthcare Venture Contest held the Wellness League Finals & Student League Second Preliminary Round on October 12, 2024, at ARCH Toranomon Hills Incubation Center. The Drug Discovery & SaMD League & Healthcare System League Finals were held on October 13 at Nihonbashi Life Science Hub.
The Keio Healthcare Venture Contest marked its 9th year, receiving a record-breaking number of applications from over 160 teams in total. In addition to the passionate presentations by each team that passed the document screening and league preliminaries, the sharp Q&A sessions with the judges made for a heated contest on both days.
This year, continuing from the 8th contest last year, a league system was adopted, with judging conducted in the Wellness League, Drug Discovery & SaMD League, Healthcare System League, and Student Division.
Additionally, the Wellness League received significant support from Mori Building Co., Ltd. as its main sponsor, and the Drug Discovery & SaMD League received significant support from LINK-J and Blockbuster TOKYO.
In the league finals on October 12, presentations were given by the eight teams that advanced to the Student Division's second preliminary round and the four teams that advanced to the Wellness League finals. We welcomed Mr. Yoshisato Takaishi, Mr. Haoyong Yang, Mr. Takeshi Aoki, and Ms. Hiromi Watase (for the Wellness League only) as judges.
In the league finals on October 13, presentations were given by the three teams that advanced to the Drug Discovery & SaMD League finals and the three teams that advanced to the Healthcare System League finals. We welcomed Mr. Kenji Konomi, Mr. Tomoya Nagata, Mr. Arikatsu Hongo, and Mr. Shunichi Takahashi (for the Drug Discovery & SaMD League only) as judges.
This year's Working Professionals Division League Finals winners and Student Division finalists, along with their teams and proposed plans, are as follows.
They will give presentations at the final judging session to be held on December 15 at Hills House in Azabudai Hills.
