We are now accepting nominations for the Sanshikai Award (Kitasato Award and Kitajima Award) recipients at the Kitasato Commemorative Ceremony as outlined below.
We kindly request your recommendations if you have any suitable candidates.
Details
1. Nomination Criteria
This award is the highest academic honor at the School of Medicine. Ideal candidates are those who have achieved internationally recognized research accomplishments,
are expected to continue their development and success, and have the potential to lead the next generation.
・Kitasato Award: For outstanding achievements in basic research and translational research for clinical application.
・Kitajima Award: For outstanding achievements in clinical medicine and clinical research.

3. Candidate Eligibility
Sanshikai members (regardless of whether they are inside or outside the university)
4. Required Documents
(1) Letter of Nomination for Candidate ( Designated Form.zip , A3 size)
(2) Curriculum Vitae ( Designated Form.zip , with photo attached, A3 size)
(3) List of Achievements (any format, double-sided printing)
・Please select achievements relevant to the research being considered for the award.
・Do not omit co-authors; list the names of all authors.
・Conference presentations may be included, but only special lectures and symposia.
(4) Offprints of papers (representative papers related to the research topic, up to 5)
5. Number of Copies to Submit
1 original and 12 copies (of all required documents)
※Please assemble documents (1) through (4) in order to create one set, and arrange the copies in the same format.
6. Submission Deadline
Must arrive by Tuesday, April 30, 2024 (Mail and in-person submissions accepted until 5:00 PM)
7. Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will be held during the Kitasato Commemorative Ceremony on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
Please note that attendance at the award ceremony is mandatory for all recipients.
