We are pleased to announce that Professor Michisuke Yuzaki of the Department of Physiology has been awarded the Japanese Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon for the fall 2023 ceremony in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of neuroscience.

The Japanese Medal of Honor with Purple Ribbon is an honorary insignia conferred by the national government that recognizes those who have made contributions in the fields of science and technology, academia, sports, and art. 11 recipients were awarded the Purple Ribbon in Fall 2023.
