We are now accepting nominations for the Sanshikai Prize (Kitasato Award and Kitajima Prize), to be presented at the Kitasato Commemorative Ceremony, as detailed below.
We kindly request that you nominate any eligible candidates.
1. Nomination Criteria
This prize is the highest academic award at the School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have achieved internationally recognized research accomplishments,
show promise for further development and success, and be capable of leading the next generation.
・Kitasato Award: For outstanding achievements in basic research and translational research for clinical application.
・Kitajima Prize: For outstanding achievements in clinical medicine and clinical research.

3. Candidate Eligibility
Members of the Sanshikai (regardless of whether they are affiliated with the university)
4. Required Documents
(1) Letter of Nomination for Candidate ( designated form.zip , A3 size)
(2) Curriculum Vitae ( designated form.zip , with photo attached, A3 size)
(3) List of Achievements (any format, double-sided printing)
・Please select achievements relevant to the research being considered for the award.
・Do not omit co-authors; list the names of all authors.
・Conference presentations may be included, but only special lectures and symposia.
(4) Offprints of papers (representative papers related to the research topic; up to 5).
5. Number of Copies to Submit
One original and 12 copies (of all required documents)
*Please assemble documents (1) through (4) in order to create one set, and arrange the copies in the same format.
6. Submission Deadline
Must arrive by Wednesday, April 27, 2022 (mail and in-person submissions accepted until 17:00).
7. Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will be held during the Kitasato Commemorative Ceremony on Friday, June 10, 2022.
Please note that recipients are required to attend the award ceremony.
