Scholarships and Incentive Programs
Kenkyu-no-Susume Scholarship
In principle, all students entering the Master's Program will be selected. However, if the number of entrants is less than the planned number of recipients, second-year Master's students with outstanding academic records will be selected. The benefit amount is 300,000 yen, 500,000 yen, or 700,000 yen, determined by review.

Graduate School of Medicine Master's Program Scholarship

Amount: Up to 1,000,000 yen
Period: 1 year
Eligibility: Students who are in good health, have outstanding academic records and character, are enrolled in the second year of the Master's Program at the Graduate School of Medicine, and will proceed to the Doctoral Programs at the Keio University Graduate School of Medicine in the following academic year.

Keio University Graduate School Scholarships
Scholarships include those that support students with outstanding character, academic records, and research achievements, as well as those that assist students who have a strong desire to conduct research but face financial difficulties in continuing their studies. All scholarships aim to foster individuals who can concentrate on their research, acquire high-level expertise, and contribute to society. Eligibility: Students enrolled in the Graduate School (Japanese nationals and foreign students with residency status of "Permanent Resident," "Special Permanent Resident," "Long-term Resident," or "Dependent") who meet all of the following conditions:
1. Those who have a strong desire to conduct research and are recognized as having financial difficulty in continuing their studies. 2. Those who are in good health and have outstanding academic records and character. 3. Those whose total scholarship receipt period does not exceed the standard term of study (2 years for Master's, 3 years for Doctoral). 4. Those who have no unpaid tuition fees up to the fall semester of the previous year at the time of application.

Grant-in-Aid for Encouragement of Young Medical Scientists
The Grant-in-Aid for Encouragement of Young Medical Scientists is an incentive program aimed at fostering young researchers at the School of Medicine.
This program provides an annual subsidy of 200,000 to 500,000 yen for individual research conducted by faculty members under 35 years of age, residents, and graduate students (second-year Master's students and above) enrolled in the School of Medicine, following a review by the committee. Application guidelines are announced around June each year, and decisions are made around August.
