Information regarding admissions for the School of Medicine.

General Admissions

Starting from the 2026 academic year, the Keio University School of Medicine and Tochigi Prefecture will accept one student under the Tochigi Prefecture Regional Quota to further enhance and advance medical care and medical sciences within Tochigi Prefecture. This system makes it a condition of admission that the student works at a public medical institution designated by Tochigi Prefecture for a certain period after graduating from the Keio University School of Medicine. Students in the regional quota will be granted a scholarship from Tochigi Prefecture, and the repayment will be waived upon completion of the required service period.

Returnee Student Admissions

Since April 1979, we have conducted entrance examinations for returnee students to accept a wide range of diverse and talented students by respecting the educational backgrounds of applicants educated abroad and evaluating their abilities and aptitude from multiple perspectives.

International Student Admissions

Since April 1965, we have conducted entrance examinations for international students to accept a wide range of diverse and talented students by respecting the educational backgrounds of applicants educated abroad and evaluating their abilities and aptitude from multiple perspectives.
