Message from the Program Director
Achieve a well-balanced clinical training experience at both cooperating clinical training hospitals and the university hospital!
Program Director, Deputy Director of the Postgraduate Medical Education Center, Shutaro Hori
This program involves one year of training at a cooperating clinical training hospital and one year at Keio University Hospital. You can acquire a balanced experience of both common disease treatment and procedures at a community hospital, and advanced medical care at a university hospital. Our program includes over 30 cooperating clinical training hospitals, each offering attractive training programs that leverage their unique characteristics. (Training details for each hospital can be downloaded from the Postgraduate Medical Education Center website.) The other year of training is spent at Keio University Hospital. If you choose to train at the university hospital in your first year, you can train in basic fields in an academic environment. If you choose it for your second year, you can train in various departments while considering your future career path during an elective training period of up to 36 weeks. In either case, you can learn cutting-edge medical knowledge and techniques from experienced instructors. We look forward to applications from those who wish to lead a well-balanced clinical training life.
