Issuance of Certificate of Acceptance

We issue Certificates of Acceptance for those who have passed the entrance examination. The fees are as follows.

■ In-Person Application

Please fill out the application form at the Law School counter at the Office of Student Services on the 1st floor of the South Building and purchase revenue stamps for the required fee.

The certificate will be issued on the afternoon of the next business day or later, so please apply with ample time.

Additionally, you will need to present your personal identification when you pick up the certificate.

*Office Hours: Weekdays 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)*

■ Application by Mail

Please apply by mail by enclosing the required documents listed below and sending them to the designated address.

1. A copy of your personal identification

*If you are unable to print out the form, please enclose a memo with the information required on the designated form.

3. Fee

Please pay with a blank fixed-amount postal money order issued by Japan Post within Japan or with cash (in Japanese yen).

If paying by cash, please send it by "registered cash mail" (genkin kakitome).

4. A self-addressed stamped envelope: Write your name and address on it and affix a stamp.

[Note] Please be careful about the postage amount.

・Addressing it "in care of" (c/o) is not permitted. Please address it directly to yourself.

・The certificate is A4 size.

・Return envelope size: For a certificate folded in three, use a Chou-gata 3 envelope (23.5 x 12 cm).

If you wish to receive the certificate unfolded, please provide a non-standard size envelope.

・Please note that we do not accept return methods other than standard mail (such as registered mail or courier services).

・Please be aware that in case of incomplete information or missing documents, the certificate will be issued only after we can confirm the details.
