Issuance of Certificate of Acceptance

We issue Certificates of Acceptance for those who have passed the entrance examination. The fees are as follows.

■ In-person Application

Please fill out the application form at the Law School counter of the Office of Student Services on the 1st floor of the South Building and purchase revenue stamps for the required fee.

The certificate will be issued on the afternoon of the next business day or later, so please apply with ample time.

You will also need to present your personal identification when picking up the certificate.

*Office Hours: Weekdays 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays)*

■ Application by Mail

Please apply by mail by enclosing the required documents listed below and sending them to the designated address.

1. A copy of your personal identification

*If you are unable to print out the form, please enclose a memo with the information required on the designated form.

3. Fee

Please pay with either a blank fixed-amount postal money order issued by Japan Post or cash (in Japanese yen).

If paying by cash, please send it by "Genkin Kakitome" (registered mail for cash).

4. A self-addressed stamped envelope: Please write your name and address on it and affix a stamp.

[Note] Please ensure the correct postage is affixed.

・"C/O" (care of) addresses are not acceptable. The envelope must be addressed directly to you.

・The certificate is A4 size.

・Return envelope size: For a certificate folded in three, use a Chou-gata 3 envelope (23.5 x 12 cm).

If you wish to receive the certificate unfolded, please provide a non-standard size envelope.

・Please note that we do not accept return methods other than standard mail (e.g., registered mail, courier service).

・Please be aware that if there are any omissions or errors in the submitted information or documents, the certificate will be issued only after we can confirm the correct information.
