To All Concerned
Regarding the Cancellation of the New Student Orientation for the Professional Legal Training Program Scheduled for March 2
Keio University Law School
We trust that all incoming students are in the process of preparing for their enrollment.
Please be advised that Keio University Law School has decided to cancel the new student orientation for the Professional Legal Training Program scheduled for March 2 (including the afternoon information session and individual consultations planned for the same day), in light of the current situation regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. While we would normally hold an orientation to provide you with various explanations, we ask for your understanding as this measure is being taken to prevent the spread of infection. The content of the orientation will be supplemented by various distributed materials, documents uploaded to the dedicated menu for new students on the Law School website, and the orientation scheduled for April 2.
Please note that on March 2, materials will be distributed from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in front of Classroom 2B23 on the second basement floor of the South Building at Mita Campus. Please pick up the materials if possible. If you are unable to do so due to unavoidable circumstances, you can receive them by the method described on page 4 of the "Information for Incoming Students for the 2020 Academic Year" document sent in November. (Please note that the application deadline for requesting delivery by cash-on-delivery mail has been changed to 12:00 p.m. on March 2).
Please send any questions or concerns regarding the distributed materials or your enrollment to the following email address.
lawjm@info.keio.ac.jp
Finally, the preliminary lectures on Civil Code and Criminal Code for students in the non-law graduate course, scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, will also be canceled.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
