Keio University Law School has recently been designated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as an eligible course for the "Benefit for Professional and Practical Education and Training."

The "Benefit for Professional and Practical Education and Training" system is a benefit system under the employment insurance program that aims to promote employment stability and re-employment. It does so by providing support, such as subsidizing a portion of the costs paid for education and training, to encourage the proactive efforts of working individuals in skills development and their medium- to long-term career formation.

This will apply to students enrolling in the 2015 academic year and onward who are working individuals or those with work experience—that is, current (employed) or former (unemployed) general insured persons of the employment insurance who meet certain conditions—and are planning to enroll in Keio University Law School.

Those who wish to receive benefits under this system should check their eligibility on the website below and complete the prescribed procedures.

*Note: In principle, applications must be submitted to the Hello Work office that has jurisdiction over the applicant's residential address. Please be mindful of the application deadline.

For details on the overview, application procedures, and more, please check the Hello Work website.
