We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a "Global Legal Professionals Seminar" on the date below, featuring Mr. Yusuke Yukawa, a lawyer currently active in Myanmar. We encourage you to attend.

Lecture Title: "Myanmar Today as Seen by a Japanese Lawyer"

[Lecture Outline]

The speaker, who belongs to a major Japanese law firm and has experience working at a US law firm,

had his first assignment in Asia in Myanmar. In a country known as "Asia's last frontier,"

he will discuss his experiences, from the struggle of launching an office from a single rented desk to the daily challenges of dealing with

the differences in practice compared to Japan after the office was established. He will also share his thoughts

on how Japanese legal professionals can contribute.

1998: Graduated from the Department of Law, Faculty of Law, Keio University.

2007: Graduated from Stanford Law School (LL.M.).

Beginning in 2007, he gained experience working at the US law firms Fenwick & West LLP

and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

Drawing on his track record of providing legal advice in numerous fields, including corporate, M&A, intellectual property rights, and business revitalization,

he currently serves as the representative of Nishimura & Asahi's Yangon Office,

where he primarily provides legal advice on Myanmar-related matters to Japanese companies.
