Autumn Guidance for Prosecutorial Training : The Legal Apprenticeship Program and the Career Path of a Public Prosecutor 1. Date and Time Saturday, October 19, 2019, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM 2. Location Mita Campus, South Building, Rooms 2B41 and 2B42 3. Speakers Six prosecutorial instructors from the Legal Training and Research Institute and two newly appointed public prosecutors 4. Details Note: Last year, this guidance session, titled "Guidance for Prosecutorial Training for Successful Candidates by Instructors from the Legal Training and Research Institute," was limited to those who had finished taking the bar examination. This year, however, the event will be held on a larger scale, with an expanded venue to include current students and others.

The content will be practical and geared toward successful candidates who are about to begin their legal apprenticeship, similar to last year. We especially encourage the active participation of our alumni.

Note: A social gathering will be held after the guidance session (fee: approx. 3,000 yen). The instructors will be joined at the social gathering by

Mr. Keizo Tsuda, a former visiting public prosecutor who taught at our law school until March of this year. Please take this opportunity to socialize with the instructors and the newly appointed public prosecutors who are alumni of our law school,

as well as to reconnect with Mr. Tsuda. Note: Due to venue arrangements, please indicate whether you will attend the social gathering when you register for the event.

To register, please email Visiting Public Prosecutor Kentaro Suzuki (email: k_suzuki@ls.keio.ac.jp) by Friday, October 11 . If the deadline has passed, we can be flexible if seats are still available, so please inquire by email.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.
