We will hold a seminar primarily for the 2012 bar exam candidates. This seminar aims to help them plan their future career paths and job hunting by having last year's candidates share their job-hunting experiences and the current situation they have observed as legal apprentices.

Specifically, we will provide an opportunity for several legal apprentices who secured employment at different times (e.g., before the exam results were announced, after the announcement but before the apprenticeship began, or after the apprenticeship started) to speak about what their lives and job-hunting activities were like after the bar exam.

We are also preparing for the event so that attendees can learn about career options other than law firms by having individuals who took employment exams for general corporations or for so-called in-house lawyer positions speak as well.

Furthermore, attendees will be able to grasp the current situation as speakers discuss the job-hunting environment they are experiencing as legal apprentices, including employment as judges and public prosecutors.

The employment situation for bar exam candidates has become quite severe, and it is anticipated to be even more challenging for the new 66th class of legal apprentices.

Therefore, this seminar is planned to focus as much as possible on "career paths and job hunting."
