Research Paper Enrollment for Graduates
The Law School provides supervision for research papers with the aim of training legal practitioners equipped with research skills in specialized fields. Submitted research papers will be graded on a pass/fail basis following an oral examination under the supervision of our school's full-time faculty members. Graduates can enroll as outlined below by registering as a Non-Degree Student (For Credit) of the Law School. Please check the schedule and procedures.
Registration as a Non-Degree Student (For Credit)
> Enrollment is possible for the research paper only, with the approval of a supervising professor.
*Please obtain approval, noting that the submission schedule differs from that of current students.
> Receive preliminary supervision from the supervising professor.
> Enrollment is limited to graduates of this university's Law School.
Schedule and Procedures (Please note that the underlined sections differ from those for current students.)
1. Guidance session for prospective research paper enrollees (April 19 (Mon): Finished). Course syllabi will be distributed.
2. Distribution of course registration overview and application forms: See the next section.
3. Preliminary approval from the supervising professor (by May 31, 2010).
*Obtain preliminary approval, noting that the submission and examination processes differ from those for current students.

5. Course registration procedure (application) *Approval (signature) from the supervising professor is required.
Application period: From Friday, May 14, 2010, to 4:45 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010.
Submission to: Law School Report Box, Office of Student Services, 1st floor, South Building
6. Submission (Thursday, October 7, 2010)
7. Oral examination (late October 2010)
8. Grade report (end of October 2010)
Fees
Examination fee: 18,000 yen
Registration fee: 40,000 yen
Tuition fee: 49,000 yen
Total: 107,000 yen
