Field of Recruitment: Political Science; Subject in Charge: "Comparative Regional Studies" *The above subject is a course that teaches the theories and methods of comparative politics. *In addition to the above subjects, the successful candidate may be responsible for teaching courses such as Foundations of Regional Studies and Comparative Politics, Political Science, and Seminars (Kenkyukai), as well as courses in the Graduate School of Law and the Correspondence Education Program. Position: Associate Professor or Assistant Professor (Tenure-track), Faculty of Law, Keio University (The position will be determined in accordance with the regulations of the Faculty). Number of Openings: 1 Date of Appointment: April 1, 2027 Treatment: In accordance with Keio University regulations (Retirement age is 65). Qualifications: Candidates must be well-versed in the theories and analytical methods of comparative politics and have achieved excellent results in empirical analysis based on them. It is desirable that the research includes Europe as a subject of study. At the time of application, candidates must have a doctoral degree or be expected to obtain one, or have equivalent or higher research achievements. Candidates must be able to teach in both Japanese and English. If Japanese is not the candidate's native language, they must have Japanese language proficiency sufficient for the performance of their duties.
