On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, an academic lecture by Professor Jan-Felix Hoffmann of the University of Freiburg, titled "The Principle of Creditor Equality and Value Tracking," was held in Room D2101 on the 10th floor of the South Building at Keio University Mita Campus.

Professor Hoffmann conducted a fundamental and systematic analysis of the significance of the principle of creditor equality, extending his perspective to civil law, civil execution law, and insolvency law, while also engaging in comparative legal research covering German, French, and Japanese law.

Many faculty members and graduate students attended the lecture. After it concluded, a lively question-and-answer session was held regarding its content, making the event a great success.
