Various issues in patent law and competition law concerning standards have been deliberated and decided by courts and administrative agencies around the world.
In this lecture, Professor Jorge L. Contreras (University of Utah), an international authority on standardization and intellectual property law, will provide an overview of patent and competition law disputes in North America, Europe, and Asia, and identify common themes across different courts and administrative agencies in various countries.
