On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, we invited Professor Eric Hilgendorf of the University of Würzburg, Germany, to give a lecture titled "Current German Criminal Law Studies: An Overview." Professor Philipp Osten of the Faculty of Law (International Criminal Law) served as the interpreter for the Q&A session, and Professor Takuma Sato of the Faculty of Law (Criminal Law) was in charge of translating the manuscript.
On the day of the event, a total of seven faculty members specializing in criminal law and legal theory attended, along with many undergraduate and graduate students from the Faculty of Law. The lecture was followed by a lively Q&A session and was a great success.
