How to Publish in Social Science JournalsSeminar

On March 20, 2015, at the Mita Campus, we welcomed Professor John Carey, chair of the Department of Government at Dartmouth College, who gave a talk on tips for publishing English-language papers in social science academic journals. In his presentation, based on his own experience publishing his research and as a peer reviewer and editor, he pointed out recent trends in academic journal publishing in political science, mainly in the United States, and strategies for non-native English-speaking researchers to publish in English. The event was attended by faculty members and graduate students from both inside and outside the university, and a lively exchange of ideas took place.
