The joint workshop mentioned above was held at Sciences Po Grenoble in France from March 10 to 11, 2014. As part of the "Center for the Study of Governance in Civil Society," a project supported by the Program for Promoting the Enhancement of Research Universities, Professor Yoshihisa Hagiwara and Professor Ken Tsutsumibayashi of the Faculty of Law and Graduate School of Law traveled to Grenoble with eight graduate students from the Doctoral Programs of the Graduate School of Law and the Graduate School of Human Relations. They held a joint workshop, engaging in academic exchange with faculty members and graduate students from Sciences Po. The Keio graduate students presented on the following topics and engaged in lively discussions with the host institution's faculty members (Professor Yves Schemeil, Professor Pierre Bréchon, Professor Jean Marcou, Professor Raul Magni-Berton, and Visiting Professor Radoslav Dimitrov—with Professor Philippe Teillet and Professor Monika Steffen also joining the reception) and graduate students, receiving many valuable comments and much advice.
