Mr. Chijun Kokubo, a student in the Ph.D. program at the Graduate School of Law, received the FY2022 JSPS Ikushi Prize for his research on "Freedom of Cognitive Processes: Constitutional Law and Neuroscience."

The Ikushi Prize was established in fiscal year 2010 with the purpose of fostering young researchers by honoring outstanding graduate students in Doctoral Programs who are expected to contribute to the future development of academic research in Japan, thereby enhancing their motivation for their studies and research.
