Keio University

Center

The Center was established to create a hub for the more interdisciplinary and global development of research, practice, and educational activities in fields where the Graduate School of Health Management has strengths.

The Center aims to create a new type of hub where industry, academia, and government collaborate with citizens, patients, and other stakeholders.

Center for Healthcare Case Study Education

In the healthcare field, there is a need to cultivate abilities and qualities—such as leadership, communication, and advocacy—that allow professionals to think for themselves, make decisions, and act in practical settings. The proper allocation of limited resources is also crucial. This Center was established to develop and promote case-based educational methods, centered on the case method, which is expected to be an effective teaching approach in a wide range of healthcare fields, including medical management, public health, and nursing.
