Certificate Courses

The Graduate School of Health Management offers the Hospital Management Innovation Course and the Health Economics Evaluation Course as part of its master’s program curriculum, aimed at cultivating personnel for specific fields.

These courses are open to persons not enrolled in this graduate school, such as those currently working and students from other university graduate schools, who can participate as special students (non-degree students) and earn credits. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who have earned the prescribed number of credits for each course.

When enrolled in this graduate school’s master’s program, credits earned for these courses will be counted toward the credits required for graduation.

Hospitals need to fulfill significant responsibilities to society and achieve sustainable operations. Through case discussion, this course aims to cultivate practical hospital managers who show great creativity and possess strong problem-identification, problem-solving and implementation capabilities.

Health Economics Evaluation Course

Program for Cultivating Health Economics Evaluation Professionals

This course aims to cultivate persons capable of comprehensively evaluating the cost-effectiveness of medical technologies (including pharmaceuticals and medical devices) from the medical, economic and societal perspectives, in order to contribute to efficient allocation of healthcare resources and policy decision-making.
