Lived Experiences of Chinese Working-age Informal Caregivers Caring for People with Dementia in Japan: An Interpretative Phenomenological Study using Photovoice
Presentation Summary
We conducted a qualitative study exploring the experiences of working-age Chinese individuals living in Japan who provide care for people with dementia. We used Photovoice, a method in which participants take photographs to represent meaningful aspects of their caregiving experiences. We then used interpretative phenomenological analysis to explore how participants made sense of their experiences.
