At the conference of the Japanese Society of Tennis, held at Ginga Hall in the Faculty of Engineering at Iwate University from Saturday, June 25, to Sunday, June 26, 2016, the research presentation by Eri Nozawa (a first-year student in the Ph.D. program of the Course for Sports Management) titled "The Influence of Life Skills and Group Cohesion on Tennis Performance: A Study of University Athletic Association Tennis Club Members" received the Research Encouragement Award from the Japanese Society of Tennis.
