The doctoral dissertation of Mineko Sugawara, who graduated from this graduate school in September 2013, titled "Factors on the First Day of Hospitalization Associated with the Onset of Delirium in Elderly Patients with Cerebral Infarction Undergoing Medical Treatment and Factors Affecting Changes in the State of Delirium During the First Three Days of Hospitalization," won the Award for Excellence at the general meeting of the Japan Academy of Gerontological Nursing.
